(FOX40.COM) — The City of Stockton will open two warning zones for overnight protection as the area continues to see cold temperatures in the forecast into the weekend.
The City of Stockton said in a press release that the warming zones are located at the Arnold Rue Community Center at 5758 Lorraine Avenue and Stribley Community Center on 1760 East Sonora Street with check-in starting at begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the check-out time being at 7 a.m.
The warming zones are open for everyone who may not have access to heat or protection from weather conditions, authorities said. For those who need to be in the spaces overnight, rest will be offered in the gymnasiums, which will be heated.
