SOUTH SAINT PAUL, Minn. — A South St. Paul mother is speaking out after her 3-year-old son tested positive for methamphetamine after coming home from daycare. The at home daycare, run by a local elected official, has since had its license suspended by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, who cited an imminent risk of harm to the people served.
Victoria Kane received a call on Dec. 6 from her son’s at-home daycare provider, informing her that he had vomited and needed to be picked up. During the ride home, Kane noticed her son’s unusual behavior.
