A woman who drove drunk and caused a crash in Carlsbad that killed a Northern California couple was sentenced Friday to nearly a dozen years in state prison.
Angela Marie Hays, 29, of Corona, pleaded guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in connection with the Jan. 13, 2024 crash that killed Jose Geraldo Lozano and Luz Maria Duran Rios, from Richmond.
