School in Clovis placed on ‘Secure and Move mode’ following social media comments

CLOVIS, N.M. — On Friday, Feb. 7, Marshall Sixth Grade Academy in Clovis was moved into a “Secure and Move mode” following social media comments made by a student, according to Clovis Municipal School’s social media .

The school was placed on “Secure and Move mode” just before 3 p.m. to allow for authorities to investigate.

Lubbock Police Department investigating death of supported living resident

During Secure and Move, all exterior entrances were secured and movement within the building was limited while instruction continued as scheduled. Clovis Municipal Schools said there will be police presence at Marshall while regular school dismissal procedures are followed.
