ONTARIO, Calif. – Travelers in the Inland Empire will soon have a new direct connection to the Midwest as United Airlines launches daily nonstop service between Ontario International Airport (ONT) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) starting May 22, 2025 (westbound) and May 23, 2025 (eastbound), Ontario, Calif. International Airport announced.
United will operate the route using a Boeing 737-800 with 166 seats across First, Economy Plus, and Economy classes. Flights will depart ONT at 7 a.m. PT, with return service from ORD at 7:55 p.m. CT.
“This expansion strengthens ONT’s role as a key Southern California gateway,” said Atif Elkadi, OIAA CEO. United currently flies from Ontario to Denver, Houston, and San Francisco.…
