Manhunt Underway in Southwest Miami-Dade After Fatal Shooting, Authorities Seek Information

Tragedy struck in Southwest Miami-Dade over the weekend as a man was fatally shot, prompting a manhunt for the suspected gunman. According to WSVN, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of gunfire around midnight yesterday near Southwest 266th Street and 138th Avenue. They discovered several vehicles riddled with bullet holes upon arrival.

The victim, suffering multiple gunshot wounds, was reportedly transported to HCA Florida Cutler Bay Urgent Care by friends, where he succumbed to his injuries. Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers is urging anyone with information on the shooting, or the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward. Individuals can call 305-471-TIPS and may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 while remaining anonymous.

A similar account was provided by CBS News Miami, which stated that a shot-spotter alert brought detectives to the same location, where they found a person shot inside a vehicle.
