Atlanta, GA – North Georgia is set to receive significant rainfall through the weekend, with a strong chance of flooding in some areas. According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, there is a greater than 70% probability of at least four inches of rain falling in the northern Georgia mountains by Sunday.
A multi-day rain event is expected to impact cities including Atlanta, Athens, Columbus, Macon, and Rome.
