Bridge rehabilitation underway at Amarillo Junction

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – If you take the Amarillo Junction, where I-44 and I-40 meet, you’ve likely noticed the work going on under the I-40 bridge.

“This is a large project,” said Mills Leslie, the spokesperson for ODOT. “It’s $12 Million, 6 months long project.”

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said 130,000 people drive through the Amarillo Junction everyday. It’s a busy interchange. That’s why ODOT said it’s spending $12 Million on bridge rehabilitation under I-40 at I-44.

The work may not be visible this month…
