Dog-friendly hotels are abundant, but few properties go as far as K9 Resorts. The multi-award-winning luxury boarding and dog daycare franchise opened its first South Florida property — its second in the state — in Pompano Beach earlier this month.
Dubbed “the Ritz Carlton for Dogs,” K9 offers luxury dog boarding suites with premium dog beds, chandeliers, and high-definition TVs. Other upscale amenities include bathing salons with premium shampoos and large outdoor and indoor play yards.
Luxury boarding options range from traditional standard ($59 per day) to double ($69), executive ($84), and luxury ($109) suites. All accommodations include a choice between “all-day group play or individual playtime with staff,” comfort bedding, and meals by Blue Buffalo.
