BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A new red light camera in Boynton Beach could lead to traffic violators being fined a lump sum of money.
The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) announced on Tuesday that it installed new red light cameras at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Miner Road. The cameras are supposed to monitor traffic that’s heading southbound and northbound.
A warning period for traffic violators will be in effect until March 12. The day after, red light violators will face of fine of $158. If the violation isn’t paid within 60 days, the price goes up to $264…
