PHOENIX — A retired deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was convicted of luring a minor in Arizona, authorities announced on Tuesday.
Jeffrey York, 68, was found guilty of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and two counts of Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor by a Yavapai County jury last Friday.
The Prescott resident could face up to 26 years and three months in the Arizona State Prison. His sentencing will be held on Feb. 28 by Michael McGill of the Yavapai County Superior Court.
