COLUMBUS, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— Ohio State Fair officials have added two more concerts to the Ohio State Fair Concert and Event Series lineup.
Morris Day, with special guest The Gap Band, will perform at the WCOL Celeste Center on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Day, a co-founder of The Time, has been in the music industry since the 1970s and launched his acting career with a co-starring role in “Purple Rain” in 1984.
AJR, a band composed of the three Met brothers, will make their debut at the Ohio State Fair on Friday, Aug. 1. Known for their energetic performances and multi-dimensional soundscapes, the trio promises a show full of theatrics and quality production.
Concert tickets purchased in advance include admission to the fair, allowing attendees to enjoy the fair’s food, rides, entertainment, agriculture, arts, and more before the shows. All concerts will be held in the indoor, air-conditioned WCOL Celeste Center. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com/OhioStateFair on the dates listed below.
The latest additions to the 2025 Ohio State Fair Concert & Event Series are:
- KIDZ BOP Live Certified BOP Tour: Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. ($32). Tickets on sale Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.
- Foreigner: Extended Farewell Tour: Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 7 p.m. ($72, $62). Tickets on sale now.
- Morris Day with special guest The Gap Band: Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 7 p.m. ($35, $25). Tickets on sale Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.
