Suspect in deadly Little Rock Family Dollar shooting identified as 16-year-old

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Court records have identified a 16-year-old who is accused of killing two 17-year-olds in a last week shooting at Family Dollar.

According to an affidavit, Sergio Retana was identified as the suspect in connection to the Feb. 4 shooting at the store located on Baseline Road.

Shooting at Little Rock Family Dollar leaves one dead, one injured

Police in Little Rock said they were called to the Family Dollar store at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. After arriving, police said they found two victims inside a car with multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to a local hospital where they later died.

Court records show that the Retana walked into the store’s parking after the victims were seen pulling into the parking lot, with the shooting happening shortly after.
