ST. LOUIS – A man faces felony charges in a St. Louis murder case, nearly two months after the victim was fatally shot near an abandoned house.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has charged Deandre Maurice Johnson, 31, with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the case.
Charges stem from a shooting that occurred on Dec. 15, 2024, in the 4900 block of St. Louis Avenue in St. Louis’ Kingshighway East neighborhood.

According to a probable cause statement obtained by FOX 2, the victim was killed in front of an abandoned house just moments after Johnson allegedly left a store with the handle of his gun sticking outside of his pocket.
