ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man arrested for assaulting two people with a rock in downtown Albuquerque was sentenced to two years behind bars Wednesday.

According to a criminal complaint, in 2023 Travis Peebly approached two people leaving the Sunshine Theater and claimed they were recording him for the government. Peebly then started attacking their vehicle with a rock, causing thousands in damage. He also threw a rock at one of the victims, hitting them in the head.
Judge Clara Moran sentenced Peebly to the maximum allowed under his plea agreement. Peebly was sentenced to two years behind bars…
