I’ve been to Gun Lake Casino plenty of times since I moved to West Michigan in 2021. Sometimes I enjoy losing my money on a little blackjack, other times I just want to press my luck on the slots. But on my last visit, something caught my eye before I even made it inside. The speed limit on the property is 21 miles per hour.
At first, I thought maybe I misread the sign. Twenty-one isn’t exactly a standard speed limit. You’ll see 20 in school zones or parking lots, and 25 on residential streets. But 21? That’s oddly specific.
