Shooting into home leads to Mobile man’s arrest: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A local man was arrested Tuesday night after an argument between two people led to a home being shot into, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the 2300 block of Boykin Boulevard around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired.

Officers arrived and said they found that the victim and a man, now identified as 50-year-old Obadiah Freeman, got into an argument that became physical.

The argument resulted in a gun being fired and the bullet hitting the home, according to officials. No one was injured.
