Nevada Highway Patrol facing critical vacancy levels

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada Highway Patrol is entering contract negotiations with the Senate Committee and Assembly Committee on Ways and Means, Senate Committee on Finance, Subcommittees on Public Safety, Natural Resources, and Transportation to address the critical need for more troopers.

The Nevada Highway Patrol trooper shortage is raising critical concerns for the agency and its ability to provide 24-hour public safety for Nevadans.
