Los Angeles county residents have reported feeling “sudden jolts” as a Valentine’s Day earthquake struck , just days after an expert warned California could be hit by more tremors following a string of earthquakes .
A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Malibu area at around 11:44pm on Friday February 14, according to the U.S Geological Survey. It happened at a reported depth of 15.3km in the northwest area of Malibu. There have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage .
