Never Forgotten Honor Flight collabs with Kwik Trip to get more applicants

RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis. (WSAW) – The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is known for giving veterans a chance to see their memorials and giving them closure. But this year, they’re struggling to get Vietnam-era veterans to apply. They might’ve just come up with a way to expand their reach.

The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is teaming up with Kwik trip once again. Several years ago, Kwik Trip helped raise more than $1-million for the Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa chapters. This time, a video will be featured at their pumps and inside the store with the hope of getting more applicants.

The NFHF is planning to take its 51st mission down to Washington D.C. in April. This time they’re honoring Vietnam-era veterans. But so far only 400 have applied…
