We have been hearing about the new Amphitheatre that is under construction for about a year and a half.
In 2023, Twin Cities Summer Jam had their last year. It was a new festival that included several different genres all mixed together at the same festival. A “something for everyone” sort of vibe. In the fall of that year, the was the groundbreaking on what was to become a 19,000 seat amphitheatre on the same site.
Now, here we are in 2025, and it looks like the new amphitheatre is scheduled to open later this year. The actual date of opening has not yeat been announced, but tentatively will be mid to late August. The amphitheatre will be run by Live Nation.

There will be some major shows that will be held at the new amphitheatre when it opens later this summer. The working name of Minnesota Quarry Amphitheatre, that is not yet the official name, but sounds like that will probably be it.
