WACO, Texas (KWTX) – A woman was arrested on Valentine’s Day after she attacked her husband with a large kitchen knife when they argued over his holiday gift, an arrest warrant affidavit states.
Rita Tate was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
A police officer was dispatched to a residence in the 5500 block of Black Horse Court to investigate the disturbance the night of Feb. 14.
The officer met with the victim, who said Tate grabbed the large knife during their argument, pointed it at him, and told him to “come and get it,” the warrant states…
