RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — With the effects of Wednesday’s winter storm still present in parts of Central Virginia, some school districts are choosing to either close or delay their openings on Friday.
The following Central Virginia school districts will be closed on Friday, Feb. 21:

- Remote learning day
- Buckingham County Public Schools
- Remote learning day
- Charles City County Public Schools
- Asynchronous learning, remote Day for Employees
- Colonial Heights Public Schools
- Maintenance and custodial staff to report at 10 a.m.
- Cumberland County Public Schools
- Dinwiddie County Public Schools
- Essex County Public Schools
- Virtual, asynchronous learning day
- Fluvanna County Public Schools
- Goochland County Public Schools
- Greensville County Public Schools
- Hanover County Public Schools
- Remote learning day
- Hopewell City Public Schools
- King William County Public Schools
- Flexible learning, staff on a 2-hour delay
- King and Queen County Public Schools
- Remote learning day
- Louisa County Public Schools
- Lunenburg County Public Schools
