Man Accused of Loitering, Theft, Kicking Officer in Face

Jaylan Pryor, 22, of Riverdale, is accused of banging on doors in an apartment complex he does not stay in, screaming in the breezeway and flipping the door handles of vehicles in the parking lot on Feb. 16 at 5:02 a.m. at the Mill House at East Cobb Apartment Homes, 2575 Delk Road in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Pryor told police he was not sure why he was in the apartment complex when he didn’t live there. Pryor began a fight with police when he was informed by Kennestone Hospital that he was going to be sedated. As Pryor fought being placed on a stretcher, he kicked an officer in the face and threatened to beat another person to death. A black Taurus 9mm, stolen from Lawrenceville, Alabama, was found in Pryor’s backpack, according to the warrant.

Pryor is charged with loiter prowl; obstruction felony; terroristic threats; and theft by receiving firearm. He was arrested on Feb. 16 at 7:49 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
