Man Apprehended Following Currituck County High-speed Chase Crosses State Lines

A high-speed chase on Friday morning led to the arrest of a Virginia man who had crossed state lines, according to Currituck County deputies.

Travis Darden, a resident of Chesapeake, is now facing multiple charges according to the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office. These charges include felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, failure to heed lights and siren, reckless driving to endanger, failure to stop at a red light, and speeding.
