Tucson is growing and currently faces a shortage of over 8,000 homes. Projections show that 35,000 more will be needed by 2035, according to a recent City of Tucson Housing Needs Assessment Study.
Under the leadership of the Mayor and Council and shaped by years of community input, the City introduced the Community Corridors Tool (CCT).
The CCT is a zoning update designed to transform underutilized spaces along major streets into vibrant, livable communities.
