HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Ocean Safety Department and Emergency Medical Services rescued an unresponsive surfer at Oahu’s North Shore Sunday.
Ocean safety said that shortly after 8:50 a.m., lifeguards responded through a rising swell, secured the surfer onto a rescue board and paddled him to shore.
