In a heartwarming operation this Saturday, a border collie found itself the center of a dramatic rescue after venturing too close to the edge and becoming stuck on a cliff near More Mesa Beach.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department (SBC Fire) responded to the emergency call, bringing the adventure to a happy ending.
The incident occurred at around 12:13 p.m. on February 22, when the off-leash canine explorer went over the side of the cliff, finding itself unable to return. SBC Fire’s ME13 unit was quickly dispatched to the location for the rescue operation…
