NORTHWOOD, Ohio — A Millbury teenager is being hailed as a hero, twice, after saving both his grandfather and a neighbor in two separate emergencies just weeks apart.
Two week’s ago, 18-year-old Gavin Saltsman and his mom were taking his grandfather, Roger, to the hospital in Oregon with cold symptoms, when things took a turn for the worse. As they were driving through Northwood, Roger went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing.
