VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a fire at the Regency Apartments on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 832 Prince Albert Court. Crews arrived around 4:30 p.m. to see heavy smoke and flames coming from the roofline.
The call was upgraded to a second alarm around 4:45 p.m. due to the fire quickly spreading across the roof line to multiple units.
One resident saw it start as a billow of smoke and then it grew, she quickly jumped into action to start knocking on doors to alert her neighbors…
