Seattle, WA – A major winter storm is set to bring heavy snowfall and strong winds to Washington’s Cascade Mountains starting Monday morning. Travel could become hazardous, especially in high-elevation areas.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 10 a.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Tuesday for elevations above 3,000 to 4,000 feet .
