AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Department of Corrections and Community Supervision has confirmed the death of one inmate at Auburn Correctional Facility in upstate New York.
According to DOCCS, 61-year-old Jonathan Grant was found unresponsive in his cell at Auburn Correctional Facility on Saturday, Feb. 22. He was pronounced dead around 8:30 a.m., according to officials.
Grant was convicted of rape and burglary. He had been serving 34 to 40 years for the crimes committed in Brooklyn, officials said…
