Just in time for Mardi Gras, Applebees is launching bold new Southern-inspired dishes! And you aren’t going to want to miss them. Whether you’re a spicy lover or prefer seafood for your dinner entree, you’re going to be excited to ignite your tastebuds with classic New Orleans flavor.

So, what exactly are the two new dishes? First, there’s a creamy dish that is a nod to the most famous street in New Orleans. According to Applebees, their Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne features “juicy Bourbon Street Chicken jazzed up with seared slices of Andouille Sausage, seasoned bell peppers and onions in a creamy, Cajun Alfredo sauce over penne pasta”.

Now, if that isn’t your vibe, you’re going to want to try this next dish that is packed with Louisiana flavor. Introducing the Blackened Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Penne.
