Golden Chick opened its first Shreveport spot on Greenwood Road in Shreveport and has had so much success that just a few months later a second location is now open. Golden Chick opened its second location on Wednesday, Feb. 19th.
Maybe the giant balloon that said “Now Open” worked too well for the crew at Golden Chick on Greenwood, we love seeing quick expansions, and the Greenwood location stays busy. If you have tried to go through the drive through you have probably allocated some extra time to be able to get ahold of the crispy chicken goodness.
I can understand why so many people are eager to get ahold of this fried chicken. There is a reason that Golden Chick is one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in the U.S. The fried chicken eatery was recognized as one of the top brands in the country by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Although the brand started back in 1967, there are major plans for expansion. In fact, If you go to GoldenChick.com you’ll see that they are promising everyone some of their famous fried chicken very soon. “If there’s not a Golden Chick in your city now, there probably will be soon.” So the second location coming along so quickly should be of no surprise…
