Loveland, CO – A local woman has been arrested in connection with a string of vandalism incidents and an attempted arson at a Tesla dealership. This marks the fourth reported incident at the dealership in recent weeks.
40-year-old Lucy Grace Nelson was apprehended on Monday. Police say she was found returning to the dealership and was in possession of materials linked to the previous vandalism, as well as additional incendiary devices.
Previous incidents occurred on January 29th, February 2nd, and February 7th. The exact nature of the devices and materials found in Nelson’s possession has not been released. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is handling that aspect of the investigation.
Nelson was booked into the Larimer County Jail and faces charges including use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony, criminal mischief, and attempted commission of a Class 3 felony.
A judge set Nelson’s bond at $100,000, which she posted. She is currently out of custody awaiting arraignment.
