A 33-year-old woman who has been arrested nine times in the past 15 years is being accused of fleeing from law enforcement after her car T-boned an SUV at an intersection in Ocala.
On Monday, February 24, an Marion County Sheriff’s Office corporal was near the Circle K located at 5182 E Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala when a woman, identified as Ocala resident Nicole Backer, was observed entering a silver car. The arrest report stated that Backer did not put on a seatbelt, and her vehicle did not come to a stop prior to leaving the parking lot.
According to the report, Backer headed eastbound on NE 24th Street as the corporal followed in a patrol vehicle. When Backer attempted to make a left turn onto NE 25th Street, her car veered wide onto the grass, where it nearly became stuck…
