WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — A DUI manslaughter conviction has been handed down for the driver involved in a deadly collision in Wellington over two years ago.
On January 23, Mateo Raymundo Valentin, 33, was found guilty of DUI manslaughter and driving without a license causing the death of a motorcyclist.
He was sentenced on February 26, to 13.75 years in the Department of Corrections, followed by 1.25 years of probation. Valentin’s driver’s license was revoked for life, and he was ordered to attend DUI school and provide restitution to the victims’ compensation fund…
