100 dirt bikes swarm Colorado intersection with law enforcement on the hunt for suspects

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for suspects related to actions that caused chaos in a local intersection on the afternoon of February 23.

According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, roughly 100 dirt bikes and motorcycles – mostly dirt bikes – swarmed the intersection of Parker Road and Florida Avenue in the southeastern Denver metro area at about 2:30 p.m. The motorcyclists allegedly started doing circles in the intersection, blocking traffic flow.

When a deputy that was in the area turned on his lights and attempted to break up the group, one of the bikes hit a vehicle. The deputy attempted to reach that wreck, but was blocked by other bikes…
