JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The body of a U.K. tourist who disappeared after a Florida taxi ride over two years ago was finally uncovered earlier this month over the border in Georgia, according to the FBI.
In a release, investigators said that the tourist — 32-year-old Alex Doughty — was visiting North Florida in September 2022, which is when his mother contacted local police and reported she couldn’t reach him and was concerned about his well-being.
