Cause of death released for men found dead in Midtown Fort Collins storm drainage tunnel

The cause of death for the two men found dead in a storm drainage tunnel in Midtown Fort Collins earlier this month has been determined.

The Larimer County Coroner’s Office previously identified the adult male victims as Aaron Cole, 56, and Kelly Demings, 54, both of Fort Collins. The two men were found dead in a tent set up inside a drainage tunnel that goes under College Avenue near Foothills Parkway in the early morning hours of Feb. 7.
