GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) held its first weekly multi-agency enforcement operation on the I-70 mountain corridor on Thursday, Feb. 27.
3 agencies were part of the enforcement operation along I-70. CSP, Avon Police Department, and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office contacted a total of 257 motorists. The enforcement resulted in:
- 48 total speeding citations
- 59 total citations
- 174 total CMV contacts
- 5 total CMV chain compliance citations
- 9 total CMV citations
