Watch: Semi-truck driver rescued after 90-minute extrication on Alligator Alley

A semi-truck driver was saved Saturday morning after his rig tipped over on Alligator Alley, authorities said. Firefighters spent an hour-and-a-half meticulously extracting him from his cab.

Around 7:30 a.m., Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue was called to a semi-tractor trailer rolling over near Mile Marker 40 on Alligator Alley, fire rescue said. Firefighters found a 40-year-old man trapped inside the cab with “significant” leg injuries.
