Fire spreads from RV to apartment building in southeast Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta firefighters responded Saturday night to a blaze that started in an RV and spread to multiple vehicles and a nearby apartment building.

It’s one of several fires that have broken out in metro Atlanta as the state of Georgia remains under a Red Flag Warning with an increased risk of fire danger.

Crews arrived at Warren Street SE and Memorial Drive around 7:42 p.m. to find the RV fully engulfed in flames, fire officials said. The fire then spread to two nearby cars and part of an apartment building’s roof…
