Arizona Faces Strong Winds, Snow Showers in Early Spring Weather Shift

Flagstaff, AZ – Northern Arizona residents can expect a turbulent start to the week as strong winds and snow showers continue through Wednesday. A wind advisory is in effect today from noon until 11 p.m. MST, with gusts reaching 45 mph in Flagstaff, the Coconino Plateau, and surrounding areas. Snow showers will develop overnight and persist into Monday, creating slick road conditions.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Monday will bring morning snow showers, a high near 34°F, and gusty southwest winds up to 37 mph. Monday night will remain partly cloudy, with wind chills dropping into the teens.
