Unresponsive man found in Lakeside RV with explosive materials

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities in Lakeside found explosive materials in an RV during a medical call.

Deputies with the San Diego County Lakeside Sheriff’s Substation were called to the 11000 block of Lakeside Avenue just after 11 a.m. Saturday for a possible overdose.

Man strangled and assaulted in Hillcrest; suspect arrested

First responders arrived and found an unresponsive man in an RV on the property, the sheriff’s department said.

The man was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. However, while in the RV, deputies noticed several items that appeared to be explosive materials, and called the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit to dispose of the explosive materials.
