FlatIron Crossing Shopping Mall to be Redeveloped

Macerich, a real estate investment trust focused on shopping malls, plans to spend approximately $240 million to redevelop FlatIron Crossing, a mall in Broomfield, according to a report filed by the company with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The FlatIron Crossing website details Macerich’s plans to amplify this exciting destination with an expanded collection of entertainment and dining options anchored by NOVEL FlatIron Crossing by Crescent Communities, a new, five-story, 345-unit luxury multifamily residential community surrounding 2.5 acres of public amenity and event space.

The mixed-use residential project will be called HiFi — a neighborhood hub for all things fun, comprising 25 acres of mixed-use residential living along with unique shopping, vibrant dining and local entertainment.
