The 20-year-old son of Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn was arrested Monday night and charged with solicitation of a minor, assault on a peace officer, and resisting arrest, officials say.
William Waybourn was arrested by Arlington police, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said. His charges will be submitted to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said in a statement that William is one of eight adopted children of the Waybourn family and that Bill Waybourn was “disappointed in the choices his son made but has taught his children there are consequences to those actions.”…
