Man accused of stealing over $100k by selling property he doesn’t own

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man is accused of stealing over $100,000 through property fraud targeting Winston-Salem and Greensboro communities, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD).

Back in Aug. 2024, Khalil Nadir Rynes allegedly sold a property to a man despite having no legal ownership or rights to it. The victim placed a $15,000 deposit, which Rynes stole, according to police.
