NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A city-wide search is underway for a pickup truck believed to be involved in a deadly hit-and-run near the Davidson County line on Monday night.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the incident occurred on Old Hickory Blvd. between I-24 and Firestone Parkway just before 7 p.m. Detectives said a man pulled out of a Dollar General parking lot on his electric scooter and was driving along the shoulder on Old Hickory Blvd. when he attempted to cross to the other side of the road.
That is when a dark-colored Toyota Tacoma truck allegedly hit the man on the scooter. Witnesses told detectives that the man became trapped underneath the truck with his scooter, causing sparks to fly while he was dragged “more than 900 feet,” according to the report…
