VIDEO: Driver charged as Rhode Island State Police release details of I-195 crash involving 12 vehicles

A driver is facing charges after the biggest pileup on the Massachusetts and Rhode Island border in recent memory.

According to Rhode Island State Police, at just before 9:00 a.m., multiple emergency response agencies responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Route 195 West in East Providence.

A tractor-trailer traveling west failed to stop for traffic, colliding with approximately twelve vehicles.
